Ron Prestage, wedding photographer, smiling at the camera

The day isn’t about me. That’s the point.

I’m Ron Prestage, an Ontario wedding photographer. I make honest photographs, give calm direction when it helps, and leave you room to actually live your wedding.

You’re hiring someone who’ll be close by for the nerves, the tears, the family logistics and everything nobody planned. The photographs matter. So does the person holding the camera.

Calm when it helps. Invisible when it matters.

I’m there to blend in and keep things moving. I’ll fix a boutonnière, help find the good light and give you a clear place to stand when direction removes uncertainty.

When the real moment is already happening, I don’t interrupt it to manufacture another one. The camera stays out of the way, but pointed in the right direction.

A real moment gets better when it’s allowed to happen.

Straight answers before a sales pitch.

You should be able to ask a basic question without feeling foolish. Pricing, coverage and delivery should be understandable before you make a decision.

Start with the date or the timeframe you’re considering. I’ll tell you whether I’m available and answer what you need to know. You don’t have to choose a package or book a phone call first.

The art of noticing isn’t passive.

It means watching the room, reading the people in it and knowing when a small adjustment will help. It means catching the reaction behind you, then getting you back to the party instead of stretching portraits into the evening.

Your wedding doesn’t need to look like content. It needs to look and feel like yours.
